The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on transport and travel. International travel facilitated the rapid spread of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown and travel restrictions have limited both physical interaction and economic activities. As countries open up and a new travel patterns emerge will the new normal for transport in developing Asia be an opportunity to address many of the historical issues and shortcoming to enable inclusive, green and affordable mobility for people and movements of goods?
