Motorcyclists Safety Workshop
This workshop, co-organised by VTI, the Swedish Transport Administration, the Swedish Motorcyclists Association and the ITF, is a follow up of the Lillehammer Motorcyclists Safety workshop, held in 2008, which was the first international event to gather around a table all motorcyclist safety stakeholders.
The objectives of the workshop are to review how the various stakeholders have implemented the Lillehammer recommendations and discuss the way to take into account motorcyclist safety requirements in a Safe System approach.
As in Lillehammer, the workshop will gather all motorcyclist safety stakeholders, including riders, industry representatives, policy makers, researchers, regulators, etc.
The workshop is a 100% virtual event spread over several weeks in June 2021. It takes the form of an open plenary followed by six expert sessions and a concluding plenary.
The opening plenary and expert sessions take place in June 2021 in a schedule to be defined. The concluding plenary will take place in September / October 2021.
The expert sessions are by invitation only.
