TEMPORARY DEROGATIONS as regards the goods transport related documents to be used within the ECMT quota system:

  1. Mutually recognise and grant extension of validity of ECMT Certificate of Roadworthiness Test for Motor Vehicles and Trailers until 31 December 2020 (included). This extension should refer to documents which have expired after 12 March 2020.

  2. Treat with leniency and recognise extension of validity of short-term licences, which have expired en route due to different administrative procedures in force following the Covid-19 measures, until the vehicles are able to complete the journey.

These derogations shall be applied by default to the actual certificates or short-term licences, without changes.

The two temporary measures are set for a limited period of time as from Wednesday 1 April 2020 until 31 December 2020 (included) by default.
