Smart technology at "Valeo Vision"

CO2 emissions reduction and the development of intuitive driving are at the core of Valeo Group's "Valeo Vision" project. The ITF Corporate Board Member uses innovative technologies to improve road safety and driving comfort. Vision system technologies include on-vehicle automotive cameras which are supplied to leading vehicle manufacturer's worldwide.

Secretary-General Young Tae Kim led an ITF delegation visit of the "Valeo Vision" facility in Bobigny, France, on 29 January. The site tour included a visit to the simulation lab for research and development in lighting and the Valeo Car Lab - an R&D incubator laboratory for automated and connected driving solutions. Mr Kim also participated in a demonstration of Valeo's automated and connected solutions. The visit takes place ahead of the ITF Summit on transport connectivity, to be held in Leipzig, Germany, on 22-24 May.

The Corporate Partnership Board is the ITF’s platform for engaging with the private sector and enriching global transport policy discussion with a business perspective.
