Abstract: 

KPIT Technologies’ Revolo for buses has won the ‘Promising Transport Innovation Award’ at the International Transport Forum (ITF) 2016 Summit in Leipzig, Germany. Revolo enables clean urban mobility, and is a versatile system designed to work across different bus formats. The key components of the system are lithium ion batteries, electric motors, a power transmission unit and smart electronic control units.
