All-Party Parliamentary Group on Infrastructure (APPGI) – What role is there for infrastructure in recovering from Covid-19?

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Infrastructure hears from leading experts on the role of infrastructure in the economic recovery from Covid-19, including examples from other countries. This session looks at the strategies that countries around the world have used to recover from both national and global economic shocks, and specifically the role that infrastructure can play, to understand what the UK can learn. 

The event brings together Parliamentarians from all parties across both Houses to hear from:

  • Jagoda Egeland, Advisor to the Secretary-General, International Transport Forum at the OECD
  • John Seed, Head of the Sustainable Infrastructure Policy unit at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
  • Dean Kimpton, former President of Engineering New Zealand
