26th World Road Congress
Since the first World Road Congress held in Paris in 1908, PIARC organises a World Road Congress every four years in a member country with the aim of sharing techniques and experiences worldwide in the field of road infrastructure and road transport.
ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim will deliver a keynote speech at the Congress and will meet with UAE's Minister of Infrastructure Development, Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority, Abdullah Belhaif Al-Nuaimi.
Mary Crass, ITF's Head of Institutional Relations and Summit, is moderator of the session on Transport is not Gender Neutral and a speaker in the session organised by UK Department for International Development on Disability and Inclusive Road Transport.
Véronique Feypell, Manager of the Road Safety Programme at ITF, is moderator of a panel of PIARC Strategic session on road safety and organiser and speaker at the Workshop on Regional road safety observatories.
Dejan Makovsek, Project Manager at ITF, is orrganiser and chair of a session on sustainable road financing.
