Honda joins the ITF Corporate Partnership Board

Honda R&D Co. Ltd has joined the Corporate Partnership Board (CPB) of the International Transport Forum. Honda R&D is the research institute of Honda Motor Co., Ltd and a wholly owned subsidiary.

The Corporate Partnership Board is the ITF's platform for engaging with the private sector and enriching global transport policy discussion with a business perspective. Honda R&D will work with the ITF and its other Corporate Partners on advancing sustainable and innovative transport solutions.

Honda R&D’s mission is to increase customer satisfaction through applied research, new technologies and their creative use, and value-creating products for the world. 

Honda R&D is committed to realising a society with zero environmental impact and zero traffic fatalities. A specific focus is the shift to clean energy, a circular resource economy and carbon neutrality.

ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim expressed his delight about Honda R&D's decision to become an ITF Corporate Partner. Secretary-General Kim said:
