External Consultant to Support the Development of Guidelines for Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans

The International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD is looking for a dynamic early-career external consultant to support its team as part of an EU-funded project focusing on the development of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) in Greece.

The external consultant will contribute towards the development of guidelines for Greek local authorities to develop Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans and monitor their effects, as well as for national authorities to support these efforts. These recommendations will be adapted to the context of Greek cities. The primary role will be to conduct a literature review, benchmarking and policy analyses to guide these recommendations. This will always be from the perspective of providing Greek authorities with operational guidelines, associated with a clear assessment of possible effects, costs and operational constraints.

The successful external consultant will work under the supervision of the SUMPs project lead with the ITF’s team. The activities are expected to be a full-time commitment (approximately 20 days a month, on average), unless the consultant is able to complete the required tasks in less time.

The ITF/OECD will enter into a contract for intellectual services with the successful external consultant for an initial period of six months, renewable for up to four years in total.
