Transport and Covid-19: responses and resources

2025 Global Mobility Conference “Futures Together: Innovation for Unlocking Progress”

This Conference explores how innovation can contribute to more inclusive, resilient, accessible, and safer transport systems.

The ITF joins with Korea's Ministry of Land,Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) to bring together experts from the mobility sector, innovation specialists, and policymakers.

As technological, economic, and societal transitions reshape societies and their economies, different actors take proactive measures to address the emerging challenges associated with these multiple and simultaneous transitions. While various forms of innovation often present potential solutions to these challenges, they may also exacerbate existing gaps or create new challenges. Digital mobility services may widen digital divides, and autonomous vehicles exacerbate regional gaps caused by uneven infrastructure and technology. This tension places a complex responsibility on public authorities, who must ensure that such innovations contribute to the overall progress of our societies.
