This event highlights the transport sector’s response to the COP28 First Global Stocktake, emphasising a just transition and setting the objective of doubling the share of energy-efficient, fossil-free land transport for both people and goods by 2030.
Looking ahead, the event explores the necessary actions to strengthen the next round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in order to meet these ambitious global targets. In addition, ITF’s Sustainable Transport and Global Outreach Adviser, Olivia Wessendorff, will moderate Segment 3: Enhancing Capacity to Raise Ambition for Transport in NDC 3.0.
