Roundtable on Increasing Cycling and Walking in Urban Mobility
ITF Meeting
Experts gather to discuss how to increase the share of cycling and walking in urban mobility. The first part of the Roundtable reviews evidence of health and other benefits from increased active mobility and addresses the societal and economic case for increasing active mobility in light of this evidence. During the second part of the discussion, experts review and discuss evidence regarding which policy interventions can lead to an increase in active mobility across a wide range of contexts and starting points. The Roundtable is chaired by Lake Sagaris.
