SIPA Policy Dialogue on Sustainable and Resilient Freight Connectivity in Southeast Asia
ITF Meeting
The SIPA Policy Dialogue on Sustainable and Resilient Freight Connectivity in Southeast Asia fosters high-level discussions and technical exchanges to enhance connectivity, sustainability, and resilience in the region’s freight transport systems.
The event brings together government representatives, international organisations, financial institutions, the private sector, and academia. Participants discuss key findings from the ITF’s regional study and explore pathways for effective policy and investment strategies.
The two-day event follows a structured agenda:
April 24 (Day 1): High-level discussions and dissemination of final study results highlight policy priorities, investment needs, and approaches to integrating sustainability and resilience. Keynote addresses and ITF presentations set the stage for a high-level roundtable, where senior policymakers exchange views on strengthening regional connectivity.
April 25 (Day 2): A technical and capacity-building approach provides practical insights and interactive discussions on freight transport assessment frameworks, data collection methodologies, and scenario-based modeling.
