Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia – Transport (SIPA-T) Philippines Project Launch and Stakeholder Consultation Event
ITF Meeting
The ITF project team conducted a fact-finding mission in Manila, the Philippines, from 26 to 29 April 2022.
A workshop on 26 and 27 April gathered key stakeholders from the freight transport sector. It provided a forum to launch this project, discuss relevant topics with local experts, offer important context on freight transport, and serve as an opportunity to collect relevant information and data for the next steps.
On 28 and 29 April, bilateral meetings were held to add further depth to the information and insights from the workshop, establish relationships with key actors in the Philippines’ freight transport industry and share information about ITF activities.
This mission was a part of the ITF's Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia (SIPA).
