The war in Ukraine has severe impacts on transport and trade. Ukraine’s transport networks suffer ongoing destruction and global supply chains experience serious disruptions. This ITF Transport Policy Response to the War in Ukraine discusses disruptions to transport connectivity in Central Asia and beyond. It concludes that regional policy dialogue and co-operation are prerequisites to preserve and further develop a resilient and integrated transport network in Central Asia.
