It serves as a significant global platform for environmental outreach, engaging millions of people worldwide.

The Republic of Korea hosts World Environment Day 2025, focusing on the urgent need to end plastic pollution globally. This effort plays a crucial role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals related to climate action, sustainable production and consumption, ocean protection, ecosystem restoration, and biodiversity preservation.
