This is a premier platform initiated by The Secretary-General Young Tae Kim provides a unique, high-level space for regional collaboration, fostering knowledge exchange on key topics such as sustainable mobility, digitalisation, decarbonisation, connectivity, and investment strategies. The event enables governments and stakeholders to align transport policies with economic, social, and environmental goals, strengthening cooperation across borders. Currently, the ITF Regional High-Level Dialogue for Asia is successfully held in various locations, highlighting the country’s role in regional connectivity and sustainable mobility while reinforcing commitments to sustainability, digitalisation, and resilient transport systems.

The main objectives of the dialogue include:

  • Facilitating high-level discussions among transport ministers and senior officials on regional and global transport challenges.
  • Promoting knowledge exchange on policies and best practices in sustainable transport, enhanced connectivity, digital transformation, and infrastructure investment.
  • Strengthening regional cooperation and partnerships for sustainable and resilient transport solutions.
  • Identifying key policy recommendations to align with global sustainable development goals.
