Policy Scenarios for Decarbonising Argentina’s Transport System

Decarbonising transport plays an important role in the relationship between lifting people out of poverty and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This report provides the results of seven scenarios that were developed to assess the impact of policy measures on freight transport demand and the related costs, emissions and shipping times in Argentina. It highlights measures and trends that will have a significant impact on Argentina’s transport system and its connections with other world regions in the decades to come.
