Re-thinking Urban Mobility: Tactical Urbanism and Public Transport in Latin America post-Covid-19: Race to Zero Transport Day

The session showcases regional best practices in Latin America for tactical urbanism, public transport and non-motorised transport development. It also addresses the challenges of adopting transport decarbonisation measures during and post the Covid-19 pandemic crisis including the role of electrification in achieving zero-emission public transport systems. Policies that address transport decarbonisation, economic recovery, and the safety of transport workers and users to increase transport resilience to future disruptions are needed.
